Continue to Pray for Dean

Dean was moved out of ICU Thursday evening. His condition is progessing but it is VERY slow. The doctors are pleased and his vitals are good. However, the pain medicine that he is being given is making him very sleepy and light-headed. So he is not using it as much today. He continues to struggle with getting his blood sugar levels regulated. This will take some time. He did sit up in the chair some last night and most of the morning today. He has even ventured out on a couple of SHORT walks. Baby steps on a long road of recovery. It is very frustrating for him because he wants to get up and do what needs to be done to help his recovery, but he just doesn’t have the strength. (God, please give him the strength he needs!)

Please continue to prayer for him as he recovers. Also, pray for the doctors and nurses here at Johns Hopkins as they work with us to get Dean’s body regulated to some very major adjustments.

God Is Good!!!

This is another prayer that Dean’s sister, Jennifer wrote for him:

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13

God, we are asking in Jesus’ Name that your healing power be upon Dean’s body. We pray that you will restore his good health Sovereign God. We want this because we want your name to be famous. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Thank you for all your prayers and encouraging cards and notes. Words cannot express our gratitude for all you have done.

Thank you Mighty God for all you have done so far and all You are going to do!

    Lynne and Dean –
I am so glad to hear all is going well. Your Faith will help you through this journey, be still and hear his words for you. You will be a testament that God is still in the miracle business. Take your time and heal. I know it is hard to sit and wait and you want it get on with it, but God wants to you rest, so rest. Trust that your leadership and guidance you have given the teams will carry on til you return. We miss you and continue to pray for you both.
