I know it may sound like a broken record but it’s true. Each week just keeps getting better and better. You guys have really made the transition into the new build great. I think you are already beginning to feel comfortable in the new room. I guess all those years moving from room to room has helped us for this transition. I thought it would take a little longer, but you guys are seasoned pros at this sort of thing. 🙂
Nothing official but my estimate is we had right at a 1000 for our grand opening. There were only a few empty seats in the second service and we had in the neighborhood of 250 in the early service. Now, these figures (estimates) don’t even consider the children that were here. At any rate it was an awesome day. Everything went very smoothly, if there was a clitch I didn’t know about it.
Thanks again to all the teams choir, praise team, sound, video, and lighting. We regret that Eric Coles will be leaving our video team (at least for now). He’s going on a kind of maternity leave. 🙂 He and his wife are expecting twin in a few weeks. Pray for them as they experience this new and exciting change in their lives. Eric has been with the video team since before I came over 3 years ago. He is a seasoned pro at getting the screen up and ready no matter what we threw at him. Thanks Eric, best to you in your new role as “dad”!
Have a great week.
